L'Occitane was created in 1976 by Olivier Baussan in Provence, recalling a childhood inspired by the fragrant lavender grown in the region. After purchasing an old steam distiller he harvested wild rosemary and produced pure essential oil. He sold this all-natural product at local markets where it was quickly embraced by local villagers and thus L'Occitane was born.


L'Occitane UK is a particularly exciting company to work for as they have doubled their business in the last 3 years and are consistently exceeding their ambitious growth plans.
