This Winter Is All About L'Occitane Shea Butter!
L'Occitane Shea Butter is renowned for its nourishing and protecting properties. This iconic natural ingredient is ideal to soothe dry and dehydrated skin.
In 1980, Olivier Baussan, the founder of L’Occitane, discovered shea butter and the extraordinary women who produce it in Burkina Faso. What started as a simple agreement between Olivier Baussan and 12 local women has grown to include over 15,000 women who supply shea butter through five fair trade cooperatives to ensure they receive the direct benefits. The butter is bought at a fair price with up to 80% advance on orders, to ensure production, environmental and social costs are covered.
