Parkway Rocks The Corn Exhange
Parkway Shopping Centre, in conjunction with the Newbury Weekly News, hosted two amazing Fashion Shows on Thursday 29 March at the Corn Exchange. This was an unmissable opportunity to see the new looks for spring and summer from the best in high street retail from Parkway, Newbury.
New Look, Fat Face, Mint Velvet, Jigsaw, Superdry, Jones the Bootmaker and Designers at Debenhams all featured in an amazing display of dance and music which will not be forgotten in a hurry! Lottie Owen from Newbury said 'The dancers were fantastic and so energetic, and with the champagne and chocolates it was just a fabulous girls night out'
All proceeds from ticket sales of the fashion show went towards the Corn Exchange 150 year anniversary celebration.
The opening of Parkway has established Newbury as a fantastic retail destination for the region, soon to be enhanced with the opening of John Lewis at home on Friday 20th April at 9am.
Parkway Centre Manager, Neil Carter said; “Newbury’s Back in Fashion was our first fashion showcase and I am already looking forward to the next show in autumn. The dancers were fantastic and brought our fashion ranges to life in a way not seen in Newbury before. The event also gave us a chance to highlight our non fashion brands like Fraser Hart, Paperchase, and Argento for a complete style makeover.”
