Parkway's Centre Manager brings the story to life

PARKWAY’S CENTRE MANAGER BRINGS THE STORY TO LIFE

Parkway Shopping Centre recently pre-vailed from a rather snowy situation! As “The Beast from The East” hit Berkshire, Parkway were forced to re-arrange their World Book Day event, entitling local nurseries & school children to a FREE storytelling inside the centre’s Waterstones.

On the newly arranged date, the 12th March, Parkway’s centre manager stepped into to read the stories, ensuring Parkway delivered on it’s word, in every sense of the way!

In addition to FREE storytelling, all the children attending received a FREE book, ice-cream from Gelato Joes and a pack of gummy bears courtesy of Harper Kids on the day.

Andrew Marmot, centre manager for Parkway commented “it was a fantastic small event and really important to demonstrate Parkway’s support for the local community. Having a young daughter myself, I had a couple of well-rehearsed stories already, and was delighted to have the opportunity to bring them to life. I hope the children had a great time!”
