Three more top names join Parkway line-up

High-quality retailers Jigsaw, Argento and Hotel Chocolat have signed up to take units in
Parkway. All three tenants will be opening stores on Parkway’s East Street with fashion
store Jigsaw taking a 1,989 sq ft unit at the entrance off Northbrook Street, whilst
jewellery retailer Argento has taken 363 sq ft and Hotel Chocolat 1,369 sq ft.

These latest names to join Parkway add breadth to and augment the quality of
Newbury’s shopping offer. The new retailers will be joining exciting high street names
such as Superdry, Topshop, Lakeland and H&M as well as anchors Debenhams and M&S.
A third anchor store, John Lewis at Home, is due to open in Spring 2012.

Ed Jenkins, Head of UK Retail at Standard Life Investments, said: “These three new
retailers will add to Parkway’s excellent retail mix, improving the shopping offer for our
catchment and providing shoppers with a greater variety in the town centre. Plans for
opening are well under way and we are all very excited about the future of Newbury as a
shopping destination.”

Parkway is the only shopping centre due to open in the UK outside London for at least
12 months. It comprises 295,000 sq ft of shops and restaurants, a 550-space shopper
car park and 147 stylish new apartments.
